Process Manager
Conestoga Energy Partners has a full time Process Manager opening at our Arkalon Plant in Liberal, KS.
Primary responsibilities: are to oversee the distillation, evaporation, and cook operations in the plant facility; assist with hiring, training and other personnel functions; coordinate scheduling; maintain a positive, team-oriented interaction with co-workers, direct reports and other departments.
Qualifications: 2-3 years of management experience; understanding of ethanol plant technology; highly safety conscious; team player; strong work ethic; accuracy and attention to detail; ability to follow direction and standard operating procedures; basic computer skills; willingness to learn; speak and comprehend basic English. Previous experience in an ethanol a plus.

Operations
Distillation & Evaporation (D/E) Operator: primary job responsibilities are to operate centrifuge, drier, dehydration, and evaporation equipment; handle and store grain and alcohol products for the plant operations.
Process (Cook) Operator: primary job responsibilities are to maintain the hammermill cook, fermentation and methanator areas including bulk chemical and enzyme storage.
Work Schedule: 12 hour shift that rotates bi-weekly from day to night shift starting at either 7:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. Operators work 7 days in a 2-week period. “On call” work may be required.
Grains
Job responsibilities: inspect deliveries to ensure quality and other specifications are met; weigh and direct truck deliveries; load/unload trucks and rail cars.
Work Schedule: Typically five days a week Sunday-Saturday, days off will rotate. “On call” work may be required.
Lab
Job responsibilities: maintain plant operations by achieving the highest conversion efficiency possible; perform quality control tests for all areas of production including water, ethanol, and alcohol
Work Schedule: Typically five days a week Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm. Weekend/night work may be required occasionally.
Maintenance
Job responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems used in the production of ethanol.
Qualifications: 6 months relevant work experience in industrial electrical or industrial maintenance.
Work Schedule: Typically Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Must be able to work an “on call” rotation.
